St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service

Please join the Villanova University Club of Greater Washington DC for the 2019 St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service. This year the Club will be volunteering with the Anacostia Watershed Society, participating in their Trash Sorting Challenge at Nash Run.

Register here!

You will be sorting trash removed from the Nash Run trap into categories to collect data, which has helped pass many environmental protection laws in the area. They still need to work on items such as bottles, cans and food wrappers, which is why we need your help! The task requires squatting down for a relatively long time and may be physically demanding; it is not suitable for young children. Please wear closed-toed shoes, long socks, long pants and bring a reusable water bottle. All other supplies will be provided.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
